Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneer or porcelain laminate is a thin layer of custom-made laboratory fabricated porcelain restoration. The translucency and light transmission of a good veneer is similar to a natural tooth thus giving a very natural look.

Meticulous work of veneer preparation under the Operating Surgical microscope makes it the State-of- art work in Esthetic dentistry. Impressions are taken of the prepared teeth and sent to the dental laboratory. Patient is given temporaries in the same sitting. A trial is usually done to check the shade and bite. After the veneers return from the laboratory, they are bonded to the teeth.

Porcelain laminate veneers are a good cosmetic and conservative alternative to full ceramic crowns or traditional porcelain fused to metal crowns.
