Dr Bartakke, the leading Dental Practitioner based in New Bombay (Navi Mumbai), did his graduation from his Alma mater, Government Dental College (G.D.C.), Mumbai in the year 1982. In the year 1988 he took Advanced Training in Dentistry from U.K. Dr. Bartakke specializes in Implantology, an advanced technique of fixing tooth inside the bone.He has undertaken rigorous training at FRIADENT, which is one of the best Implant systems in the World, from Germany, Netherlands and Belgium. He has also undergone rigorous training under the surveillance of Dr. Peter Brabant, M.D., D.D.S. from Belgium in the year 2000 and received his Fellowship in Implantology (F.I.C.O.I.) in 2003.

From 2006 he has been using the Xive and Xive TG Implant systems (German Implant systems from Dentsply).From 2009, he is using Ankylos Implant system. He updates himself in Oral Implantology and Bone grafting by attending the Conference of European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) and the EAO journals.

Dr. Bartakke appreciated the need for flawless treatment for his patients and therefore decided to enter the arena of working under Operating Surgical Microscope. He has completed the Certificate course on Microscope Training in Endodontics from University of Pennsylvania in the U.S.A. To date, he is the only dentist in India who has taken Certificate course from University of Pennsylvania, USA under his Don Dr. Syngcuk Kim (D.D.S, M.Phil, Ph.D Louis I Grossman Professor and Chairman of University of Pennsylvania). He is one of the few dentists across the world that does General Dentistry under Microscope.Dr. Bartakke organizes personalized Continuing Education courses for young dentists and is a great teacher.
